We Do Care has partnered with Joint Task Force Guantanamo to have over 200 service men and women deployed to "one of the finest gated communities in the Caribbean" take part in our September 6th inaugural Freedom Run at US Naval Base Guantanamo Bay. They are Honor Bound To Defend Freedom! | | Running As A Family - 1650 Miles Apart We promise Chicagoland's most inspirational race and our first race registrants will provide a piece of that inspiration. First Lieutenant Sarah Cleveland will take part in our race with her mother and sister. The catch is that Sarah deployed in April to Guantanamo Bay with the Wisconsin Army National Guard's Mobile Public Affairs Detachment.
Sarah's sister Heather will be traveling to Barrington from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and her mother Susan will make the trip from Little Chute, Wisconsin so they may participate with Sarah - while 1650 miles apart!

Susan commented to me "I love when we can run as a group, knowing that Sarah will be running at the same time and the same distance but in a different place is very cool. While she is deployed, I find myself wondering at certain times where she is and what she is doing. This time we will know exactly what she is doing. She will be hot & sweaty just like us!"
We do hope you'll join Sarah, Susan, and Heather during what promises to be Chicagoland's (and now Guantanamo Bay's) most inspirational race! Click here to register.
And remember, in support and thanks of our troops, We Do Care waives all race fees for Active Duty and family members of deployed troops as well as a 50% discount for other military members and veterans.
